The US Navy Leap Frogs opened the show, bringing in the American Flag (and, inexplicably, a Phillies flag). Members of the Leap Frogs are drawn from Naval Special Warfare (NSW), including Navy SEALs, Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen (SWCC) and support personnel.

The Trojan Phlyers perform in the North American T-28 Trojan. Flown by the Navy as its primary training aircraft, the Trojan also saw combat in the counter-insurgency (COIN) role in Vietnam.
